We are pleased to share that the 2025 Call for Proposals for the Top 100: Global AI for SDGs Index is now officially open.
Organized by the International Research Centre on Artificial Intelligence under the auspices of UNESCO (IRCAI), this global initiative highlights the most impactful, ethical, and scalable AI solutions that contribute to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
As the National Contact Point for Slovakia, the Industry Innovation Cluster (IIC) invites startups, research institutions, public sector organizations, and civil society initiatives to apply and showcase their AI innovations on a global stage.
About the IRCAI Global Top 100 Index
The Top 100 Index recognizes AI tools and projects that demonstrate:
- Strong technical foundation
- Ethical and responsible AI practices
- Measurable real-world impact aligned with one or more SDGs
Selected projects will benefit from:
- Global visibility through IRCAI, UNESCO, and partner networks
- Inclusion in the Global Top 100 Index and official report
- Eligibility for the Top 10 shortlist and participation in the award ceremony in February 2026
- Matchmaking opportunities with investors and partners for mature projects
Key Dates:
- Submission Deadline: October 1, 2025
- Top 100 Announcement: November 2025
- Top 100 Ceremony: February 2026 (location TBA)
