The European data economy is evolving rapidly, creating new opportunities for businesses, organisations and innovators to collaborate, share data and develop new digital services. On 25 September 2026, the EONA-X Data Dialogues will turn its attention to Slovakia with a dedicated online session exploring the Slovakian ecosystem and the opportunities offered by European Data Spaces.
European Data Spaces and opportunities for Slovakia
The webinar, titled “EONA-X Data Dialogues: Zoom on the Slovakian ecosystem”, will bring together perspectives from the Slovak innovation and business community to discuss how European Data Spaces can contribute to innovation, data collaboration and stronger European cooperation.
The session will be opened by Martina Le Gall Malakova, President of the Industry Innovation Cluster (IIC) and Chair of the SMEs and Entrepreneurs Committee at Business at OECD. Martina will share her perspective on Slovakia’s innovation strategy and discuss the opportunities that European Data Spaces can bring to Slovak businesses and organisations.
The discussion will then move from strategy towards practical experience with Pavol Labant, CEO of Slovaklines, who will share insights from the Slovak ecosystem and illustrate how opportunities related to data collaboration and European Data Spaces can translate into concrete initiatives.
From strategy to practice
A key focus of the session will be the connection between strategic ambitions and real-world implementation. By bringing together different perspectives from the Slovak ecosystem, the dialogue aims to highlight how data sharing, digital cooperation and European Data Spaces can support innovation and create new opportunities for organisations.
The 45-minute session will conclude with an open discussion focused on data collaboration, innovation and European cooperation.
